Welcome to Reactions (the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Purpose of the Service
The Service helps users log allergy-related information (such as symptoms, product use, and reactions) over time and view reports summarising patterns in their data. It is designed for tracking and educational purposes only.
The Service and its AI outputs:
- Are not medical devices,
- Do not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or predict any disease or health condition,
- Must not be relied upon for or in support of medical decision-making.
2. No Medical Advice
The information provided by the Service (including AI-generated summaries, insights, or reports) is for informational/educational purposes only.
- It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about symptoms, reactions, or treatments.
- Never ignore or delay seeking professional advice because of something provided by the Service.
- In the event of a severe or life-threatening reaction (e.g., trouble breathing, swelling of the face/lips, anaphylaxis), call emergency services immediately.
3. Beta Testing
Important Notice: The Service is currently in beta testing.
This means:
- Some features may not work correctly.
- Data, reports, and insights may be incomplete or inaccurate.
- Access may be limited, delayed, or withdrawn at any time.
- Users are considered test users and agree to use the Service at their own risk.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Provide accurate information when logging symptoms, products, and reactions.
- Not misuse the Service, attempt to hack it, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Respect the intellectual property rights of Reactions and third parties.
You remain solely responsible for your health and medical decisions.

We value your privacy. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

- Data you provide is stored to help display trends over time.
- Do not include information you are uncomfortable sharing.
- We may use de-identified or aggregated data for research, analytics, or service improvement.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without liability. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always accurate.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Reactions and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of £60 GBP or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
